Honoring international soldiers

On February 15, 1989, the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan officially ended. This year marks the 35th anniversary of the end of the war that lasted almost 10 years and affected the fate of more than 620,000 Soviet soldiers and officers. Among our compatriots, Belarusians, there are about 30 thousand who participated in these hostilities, 771 people died, 12 are missing.

Therefore, February 15 in the Republic of Belarus is designated as the Day of Remembrance of Internationalist Soldiers. On this day, we pay tribute to the memory of the departed internationalist soldiers and honor those who are with us today.

A solemn celebration of internationalist soldiers and employees of the enterprise took place at JSC Olsa. Director Ekaterina Bogdanovich expressed sincere words of respect to them, thanked them for their hard work, loyalty and dedication to their profession and the company, and wholeheartedly wished them good health, family well-being, and many joyful and happy events in their lives.

All the internationalist soldiers were presented with valuable gifts from JSC Olsa.
