In 2024. JSC Olsa is implementing the project "To develop and implement the technology and high-tech equipment of an automated welding complex for the manufacture of furniture on a metal frame" within the framework of the state scientific and technical program "Innovative Engineering and Engineering Technologies 2021-2025".
This project is being implemented by JSC Olsa, with the support of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus, which acts as the state customer, and jointly with JSC Kuzlitmash at the expense of the republican budget and its own funds.
Welding equipment and technologies occupy one of the leading positions in modern industrial production. The development of technology places new demands on production methods and, in particular, on welding technology.
The relevance of the project is confirmed by the fact that for the manufacture of metal furniture frames, a number of technological operations are performed, one of which is the "welding" operation, new technology and high-tech equipment will increase the welding performance of furniture on a metal frame by up to 50%.
The novelty of the project lies in the improvement of welding technology, which is focused on improving process performance and improving the quality of the welded joint of thin-walled metal. Welding using robots is based on high-precision arc control, which has become possible only with the help of an ultra-fast control system based on the operation of a nano-processor.
The project provides for the creation of a process innovation with improved in-line production, which has no analogues in the Republic of Belarus.
An automated welding complex based on 4 industrial welding robots has been manufactured and commissioning is currently underway, followed by the development of manufacturing technology for parts of mass-produced furniture and new types of products!
Efficiency is confirmed by reducing production costs and ensuring high quality of products, reducing harmful factors and improving working conditions for employees!
